“Good-bye, sir.”
An Yinong stretched out his hand, but his fingers passed through the black figure. Everything around him disappeared, and he felt that something in his brain was also disappearing, which seemed to be the love and hatred of “Tian Yinong”…
No!
The desire to desperately hold on to something and this “disappearance” fought against each other in the brain, bringing a tearing pain. An Yinong, who had already accepted the separation, could no longer remain calm. He clenched his fingers tightly and refused to give in. He was unwilling to forget those little details, and could not let go.
“System, come out!”
The system, which looked like a little doll, appeared, and black symbols flashed across its face one after another: “Host, don’t worry, I won’t take away your feelings. I have already hidden them secretly. Shh – don’t ask, you will be heard.”
An Yinong closed his mouth and gritted his teeth until the piercing pain in his brain passed.
“This is a way to protect the host from mental collapse. I know the host doesn’t want this, but…” The system panted, “However, the human body cannot bear too many emotions and can easily become extreme or even crazy. Many of my previous hosts were like this. They couldn’t stand the loss, let alone face the future.”
It looked at An Yinong and said, “Host, since you’ve left, maybe it’s better to let it go?”
“What if I don’t want to?” If he had to get rid of these emotions, he would rather be a madman.
“But!”
The system was about to persuade him again, but suddenly a crack appeared in this empty space, and there was pure darkness over there, and it seemed as if it was being sucked in as it watched. A huge claw covered with black scales stretched out from the crack, tearing it open, and the huge body slowly appeared. An Yinong didn’t know this giant, but he unexpectedly felt a sense of relief, as if his intuition was saying: This ‘person’ can be trusted.
The system began to tremble all over. It clung to An Yinong’s body and repeated in a low voice: “Danger, danger.”
The huge monster slowly shrank, the sharp claws retracted, its horns and tail disappeared, and when it appeared in front of An Yinong, it had completely taken on a human appearance. He had a pair of beautiful and imposing phoenix eyes, long hair like a waterfall, and the corners of his mouth were raised, smiling.
“Sir?” An Yinong was a little hesitant and confused. ‘It’ was not quite the same, but his feelings told him that this was his Gu Zhengzhong.
“Follow your heart, Yinong, and find me again.” ‘It’ held a crystal-clear object in its hand, and guided the small crystal bead with its fingertips to touch the bottom of An Yinong’s eyes. A chill came…
“He Tiantong!”
Something hit him on the head. Before An Yinong opened his eyes, he heard a burst of laughter, as if someone was laughing at something. He also heard the sound of the wind outside pushing against the window and the chirping of birds.
An Yinong opened his eyes. The world was blurry at first, but after blinking a few times, it became clear. In front of him was a classroom with many students in white uniforms. There were relaxed smiles on their young faces. A teacher with slicked-back hair was staring at him. It was he who had just hit him with the chalk.
“He Tiantong, stand up and answer the question.” The teacher shouted again, the voice coming from far away and gradually getting closer, pulling people back to reality from their dreams.
An Yinong subconsciously looked towards the blackboard. There were words he was familiar with, but strangely, those words refused to stay where they were supposed to be, but jumped around. Because it was so strange, he didn’t react and didn’t move. He just stared at the dancing words on the blackboard.
“What are you looking at?”
“The words seem to be flying.” A childish voice came out of his mouth, soft, with an upward ending, and a little cute.
This voice woke An Yinong up: Who was talking?
“He Tiantong, get out of here and stand outside!” His expression was regarded as a provocation by the teacher. The young teacher could no longer tolerate it and pointed outside the door, wanting to exercise his power as a teacher.
An Yinong didn’t quite understand what had just happened, but he knew it was not appropriate to get into a conflict with others at this moment, so he stood up. “Bang”, something fell from his knees, and when he looked closely, it seemed to be a comic book with a rough style of painting, and the characters in it had exaggerated muscles.
“It’s bad enough that you don’t listen carefully in class, but you also secretly read such indecent things?!” The young teacher was furious.
“Teacher, He Tiantong said he wants to be a cartoonist.”
The other students in the class looked at him, some were laughing openly, some were covering their mouths while laughing, which showed that they were already accustomed to such things.
“Cartoonist?” The teacher looked at him with some dismay, “Is this a serious profession? Stand outside and think about what you did wrong.”
An Yinong bent down, picked up the comic book, and walked outside amid their laughter. The early summer breeze blew over him, and he sneezed and woke up completely.
“It’s over.” He closed his eyes.
Because Tian Xi had suffered in his childhood and had been overworked for many years afterwards, his body could not hold on for much longer. An Yinong was already preparing to retire, but Huang Meisheng was stripped of his status as a juren due to a fraud case and wandered all the way to his city. When they met on the street, his regret value reached the maximum.
Now he had traveled through time again, and without someone by his side, the world has become empty. There were actually people who pursued eternal life. He really did not know what happiness there was in being forced to say goodbye to the past all the time.
“System, come out.”
The system cautiously floated out. The host called it ‘system’ instead of ‘Xiao Qi’, which showed that he was not in a good mood at the moment: “What does the host want to know?”
“You know what I want to ask.”
The system hesitated for a moment, and looked around. “I didn’t decide on the emotional withdrawal, it was set by the main brain. Anyone who has lived in a small world for more than a year will go through this process.”
“That person is Gu Zhengzhong?”
The system’s face turned pale, and it trembled: “I, I don’t know. I have heard something, but I am not sure, and I can’t say too much.”
An Yinong glanced up at the sky and asked, “Can we meet again?”
“The possibility is not high.” The system did not want to deceive the host.
“…Where is this?” An Yinong didn’t think so. He had an inexplicable confidence that ‘it’ was Gu Zhengzhong, and they might meet again one day. Until then, he will take good care of himself and not worry people far away.
An Yinong began to familiarize himself with the environment. All he saw were traditional Chinese characters, but the environment looked very modern, as if it was a school corridor.
In connection with the previous situation, the original owner seemed to be a student. Judging from the appearance of his classmates, he should be a middle school student. He was not very good at studying and his relationship with his classmates was also average. Now he was kicked out for not paying attention in class.
Outside the classroom was a long corridor, outside the corridor was the campus with early summer scenery. There were also several buildings in the campus, about 20 meters high, with golden signs on them, Fengyu…Yufeng Building, which looked like they were donated by someone.
“It looks like it’s from the 1990s. You chose modern for me?”
The system hesitated to speak.
“…Out of control again?”
An Yinong asked casually, but who knew that the system actually nodded, with tears in its eyes: “I originally chose the 21st century.”
What was the use of a system that occasionally goes out of control and stops working?
“That’s fine. At least this place looks like a peaceful society.” After fleeing famine in the last world, An Yinong no longer had too many requirements for the living environment.
“This is a derivative of a novel set in Hong Kong, but there are many original works in it. The host can just treat it as a fiction.” The system atoned for the crime, “I will give the plot and memories to the host now.”
At this time, two people who looked like teachers came into the corridor. They were wearing white professional suits and had fluffy curly hair. When they saw An Yinong holding a comic book, they shook their heads and left.
An Yinong closed his eyes and began to absorb the plot and memories.
“Hiss.” He opened his eyes again. “Can the plot be transmitted in a different format? The densely packed words jump around, making people feel upset.”
For the first time, he felt that “words” were such a disgusting thing. An Yinong almost suspected that the original owner had a head injury or concussion.
The system didn’t understand why, but it quickly converted the text into audio. This time there were no jumping words, but he still had a severe headache and was very resistant.
The system thought for a moment and said, “Maybe it’s because this body can’t hold too many memories and emotions. The original owner was just an ordinary person.”
“Is there any other way?” Without the original owner’s memories, he would be unable to move forward here.
“I am now switching to an ‘experiential method’ to transfer memories. The advantage of this is that the host has a clearer memory, but the disadvantage is that the host may be affected by the original owner’s memories and emotions.”
An Yinong touched his forehead and said, “It’s just a little emotional, it’s nothing, let’s continue.”
“Then I will extract the important memories of the original owner first and remove the unimportant memories. This way the host will be less affected.” The system had to continue, and this time An Yinong successfully accepted most of the memories and the complete plot.
If watching the memories before was like watching a movie, without any sense of reality, then receiving the memories this time was like recalling one’s own life. Many fragments flashed back in An Yinong’s brain, and for a moment he couldn’t tell who he was.
“I am An Yinong, not He Tiantong…” An Yinong came back to his senses and broke out in a cold sweat. The memories and emotions from the previous worlds suppressed the external emotions and memories.
“Host, don’t be nervous. The influence of the original owner on you will gradually weaken over time and disappear in three months at most.”
An Yinong breathed a sigh of relief.
The original owner was named He Tiantong, who was about to turn sixteen years old and was the youngest grandson of Hong Kong media tycoon He Jizu. He should have been a handsome young man riding a horse and wearing fine clothes, but because of his poor comprehension ability, he was called a poor student. Later, some people suspected that he had an IQ defect, and he suffered a lot of subtle discrimination.
Although the original owner’s family loved him, they did not understand him. Over time, the original owner became self-destructive and developed a temper that was easily irritated.
The original owner’s father was He Chengjue, the third son of the He family. He inherited the family newspaper. His mother, Li Yufeng, was a well-known Cantonese opera actress. This couple used to be a fairy tale of prince and Cinderella, but now they are rarely together and their relationship was not good.
Although they loved their only child, their way of loving him was to wantonly give him money. Afterwards, the original owner was subjected to cold violence, and they simply transferred him to this government middle school. After that, they were still busy with their careers and paid little attention to the original owner. Now not many people in this school know that he was a child of the He family.
Fearing that he would be discriminated against because he was born a little stupid, the He family did not allow anyone to report on He Tiantong, and his name and photos never appeared in the outside world. However, after transferring to another school, the English teacher Zhang Yu accidentally discovered that the playboy He Chengjue was his father.
She wanted to marry into a wealthy family, so she deliberately made trouble for the original owner and took the opportunity to find the original owner’s father. She pretended to be a responsible teacher who cared about the child but was very disappointed. She continued to suppress the original owner mentally, and at the same time, she had an affair with the original owner’s father in the name of the original owner’s teacher.
If the plot developed as it should, his parents will divorce soon, he will live with his father, and then continue to be suppressed by his stepmother English teacher.
At the same time, the stepmother’s nephew Zhang Ming was plotting against this naive young master in another way, until the original owner was tortured and suffered a mental breakdown.
“Host! Host!”
When An Yinong came to his senses, he found that the palm of his hand was painful. It turned out that his nails had pierced his palm because he used too much force.
His heart was filled with hatred for the people who had caused his misfortune, his English teacher Zhang Yu, Zhang Ming who had plotted against him, even the original owner’s parents, and the protagonist of this story, Wen Long.
I wonder if his body has dyslexia. That would be a pretty interesting new difficulty in this life. Thank you for the chapter!.

I like plots in which the body is important, I always wonder why when changing souls the MC does not have the same condition/spectrum as the original, if the body is the carrier of the symptoms
